Mable Martin was indicted by the Pike County grand jury for the sale of cocaine (two counts) on September 1, 1995. On September 9, 1996, the defendant was tried and convicted in the Circuit Court of Pike County on both charges. Feeling aggrieved by her convictions, she appeals.
Narcotics Officer Darryl Hilliard, and a confidential informant, who was not named at trial, along with Crieg Oster, deputy manager of the Southwest Narcotics Enforcement Unit, met prior to a drug transaction. The testimony indicates that Agent Oster performed a limited body search on Agent Hilliard and the confidential informant prior to their engagement with Mable Martin.
